(More customer reviews)A great rod for trout, even the larger ones. Fishing with 3 lb test green Maxima line on Stradic 2500fh reel, it turns the fish quickly. I prefer them to the Daiwa graphite rods I've had.

Throwing modesty out the window we nailed these actions and developed the perfect salmon, trout and bottom bouncing graphite rods. Although beautiful, you don't have to take out that second mortgage to load the boat with them.

(More customer reviews)I ordered 18 of this single item.12 were soon shipped and 6 were backordered.Although I requested to know when the 6 might be expected to be received from the mfr, I could get no such information, only "canned" responses.After a couple of weeks the backordered items were cancelled by the retailer.The items I received were fine but communication with the retailer could have been better.I have enjoyed shopping in this retailer's stores for years and am sorry to hear they are going bankrupt.Maybe this kind of customer service has something to do with it.

(More customer reviews)The Smithwick Devil's Horse is an old surface lure that still drives fish crazy unlike the newer ones on the market now days.It can be modified also by changing the rear hook for a larger heavier one that makes the lure sit different in the water with it'd nose sticking up.A tiny twitch makes it nod and dance on the surface for a nice strike.I found the Yellow with Black back good as well as the all black one which are hard to find now.
