(More customer reviews)Liked it very much, I love to grab and go with flies in the case w room for my nippers.My only minor complaint is that the zipper on the rod compartment could open farther, it is a bit of a tight fit to put in the rod butt at an angle.It is well constructed and good looking.I recommend it.

(More customer reviews)Other than that the original info we saw online showing the rod able to be dismantled in two pieces (which it is not), this is a great all-around rod.We had one just like it until last year (can't remember how it broke), but we'd had it for many years.

(More customer reviews)This is the best Zebco I have ever owned. The five bearings make it super smooth and quiet and the drag is very effective. I can cast 30% futher with this than my other non bearing Zebcos. It is such a pleasure to land fish and not even be aware that the reel is turning due to it's smooth and quiet performance, the rod is well matched. Zebco always has backed up their products.

(More customer reviews)This is a nice little "training" combo.The casting trigger is great for small, "rookie" fishers.The only negative comment I have is that the gear ratio for the reel is too low.We use it to fish for snappers with a lure and the reel doesn't generate enough retrieve speed for the lure to work efficiently.
