(More customer reviews)Frankly, haven't owned an Abu Garcia reel since the days of the old 5500-5600 Ambassadeurs but, based on price and reviews on other websites, thought I would give the Revo S a try.I own several right-hand Shimano and Quantum reels, all good, but arthritis in my left wrist has made hook-setting very painful.Rather than using spinning reels, I decided to try a left-hand bait cast reel and chose the Revo.A little awkward at first, I still cast with my right hand and had to remember not to shift to my left hand to retrieve.After setting braking system (just the one knob on the Revo S model), I let fly with my first cast.The line literally flew off the reel and with absolutely no bird nest!Amazingly lightweight and smooth.I'm a "simple is better" kind of guy and this reel is everything I want and need.
