These reels are suitable for trolling off planer-boards w/"Dipseys" or "Jets", or on long-line rods.
The reels carry a capacity of more than 350 yds, of 30# braided-line or 20#+ co-polymer-line.Even when they're fully loaded, they remain light enough for nearly anyone to use easily.
The line-counters, are accurate & easily reset, the drags are dependable, and the gears are strong enough for any/all kinds of trolling use on the Great Lakes.Okuma even added an interchangeable "cranking-handle", with this model.
Our past experience with Okuma reels, has shown that they can stand up to the everyday-abuses of charter-fishing; with only minimal upkeep necessary throughout the season.
