(More customer reviews)Having used this model reel for over ten years, I ordered a replacement. Very smooth operation, adequate capacity,with all the features we enjoy. Hoping this purchase (made in China) lasts as long as my previous one which was produced in Japan by Daiwa. Excellent reel for light line and lure presentations.

The item is ok, however not that much different in design compared Shakesphere model also manufactured in China for Pure Fishing Inc. Cannot find the 50% price differential between products after a feature comparison. I own both reels. Link to compare> Shakespeare Synergy Steel Underspin Reel
Pflueger expected quality does not show in this model. Shame on you Pure Fishing for importing this product.
As a user of Pflueger products for over fifty years I would expect more quality differences in the Pflueger model for the additional cost involved!

(More customer reviews)This is a great reel, if you can get one that works. I ordered two of these reels. One worked fine and the other one would catch the string. I took it apart and noticed the string housing was so thin that the edges came apart and would catch the string. I sent it back to Amazon and it was quickly replaced. The replacement was in the same condition. Wanting to go fishing, I covered the outside edges of the housing with metal glue and rounded it off after it dried. So far, it is working just fine. I would pay twice the price if Zebco would put a little more metal on the parts that count the most.

(More customer reviews)I absolutely love these little Zebco ll Platinums. Fantastic little reel. Smooth and durable. Works great for Slab, I have even caught a few 5 pound channel cats with them without a problem. Great starter reel for kids or ultralight gear for the experienced fisherman. The absolute best thing about these is the price. You can keep two or 3 of these on hand for what you pay for some reels that have similar performance. If you drop it in your boat or on riprap, it is durable enough to take the beating unlike little spinners where you bend the bail and its junk. If you lose it, it is cheap to replace. Of course there are better performance reels out there, but as far as more bang for your buck goes, you can't go wrong with these little Zebco 11PL's.

(More customer reviews)I always wanted to try a trigger spin reel. Can't beat a Zebco for price and reliability. The reel even came with line. Stuck it on a pole went out fishing worked great. Nice quality and finish. It's not the smoothest casting reel out there, for the money it's a great reel.
