Hoping this purchase (made in China) lasts as long as my previous one which was produced in Japan by Daiwa. Excellent reel for light line and lure presentations.

(More customer reviews)Purchase two of these items for ultra lite spin casting usage. Very light weight when balanced with a 5'6" graphite rod. The trigger feature is wonderful for placing lite line lures into a stream under windy conditions. The second one will be installed on a longer rod and "watch out trout" here we come!
Excellent pricing! A value I believe. I would recommend it highly.

The item is ok, however not that much different in design compared Shakesphere model also manufactured in China for Pure Fishing Inc. Cannot find the 50% price differential between products after a feature comparison. I own both reels. Link to compare> Shakespeare Synergy Steel Underspin Reel
Pflueger expected quality does not show in this model. Shame on you Pure Fishing for importing this product.
As a user of Pflueger products for over fifty years I would expect more quality differences in the Pflueger model for the additional cost involved!

(More customer reviews)Think of it as a closed face spinning reel with a trigger brake.The Ti10U casts so easy it makes lightweight crappie and bream baits and lures easy to cast, and with control I can't get with open spinning reels.And this reel is bigger than the ultralight model, so it will handle the slabs much better.The 10# line is a plus for me too. Overall much more fishable than the ultralight model underspin and much easier than an ultralight spinning reel.thanks

(More customer reviews)This is a great reel, if you can get one that works. I ordered two of these reels. One worked fine and the other one would catch the string. I took it apart and noticed the string housing was so thin that the edges came apart and would catch the string. I sent it back to Amazon and it was quickly replaced. The replacement was in the same condition. Wanting to go fishing, I covered the outside edges of the housing with metal glue and rounded it off after it dried. So far, it is working just fine. I would pay twice the price if Zebco would put a little more metal on the parts that count the most.
