(More customer reviews)I had always wanted a Redington rod and this fits the bill.A very nicely made rod and matching reel, at an affordable price.I fly fish sporadically during the year, and my casting abilities do not lend themselves to a $500 rod.Nice balance; and casts incredible easy.

(More customer reviews)Just looking at the picture that is available, I wasn't sure what quality to expect from this thing considering it is one of the cheapest rod/reel cases I have found. Well I just got it and it is exactly what I needed, and better than expected. The material on the outside looks and feels good. The rod area is solid and will fully protect rod, the reel area is not a hard cover, but has GREAT padding. I'm pretty sure I could drop this thing off my house and not worry about rod/reel. IMO highly recommend, great price and I don't know how much more you could get out of another case.

(More customer reviews)The Okuma Nomad compact rod and reel is of excellent quality and the fit and finish is what it should be for a $100 combo. The product was as described. My only complaint was there is no dimensions for the carry case. The case is to big to fit in most motorcycle saddlebags and that was the express reason I bought it. The case measures 22"x 11" x 3". I found that the rod parts fit easily into my bags when removed from the case so I will keep it as the combo is far superior to most lightweight compact combos.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this item and the service was great.The only problem is that what they show and tell about is different than what they are selling.Check the product discription, which they tell you to do.They show and tell about a Fly Reel but the product discription says it is a spare spool and that is what it is.I would order from them again, but only after double checking the product description.I feel that they sort of false advertise their products.They did accept the return and credited my account right away.Though I'm out the $5.95 shipping and another $2 something for return shipping.

(More customer reviews)After borrowing from friends I decided to buy my own rod.I didn't want to put a ton of money into it, but wanted soemthing that I could use to build my skills.This rod fits that need well.It arrived in great condition and almost ready to go.The reel is wound with backing, fly line, and leader.You will need tippet and flies.On my first day out with it I got a small brown trout on the line.I gave it four stars because I'm sure there are better set-ups available, but I doubt they are anywhere close to this price.
